MY VIRGIN TRIP TO THE MOVIES WITH SHEN & EUNYCE..... PRICELESS.

Review by GV: Jean, a shy waiter working in a grand hotel, is mistaken for a young millionaire by beautiful, scheming adventuress Irene (Irene is a woman that goes around hooking up rich men to supplement her luxurious lifestyle). When she discovers his lowly status, Irene beats a quick retreat. But love struck Jean has no intention of letting her escape, and pursues her to the Cote d'Azur. Quickly running out of money, he adopts his beloved's lifestyle, setting himself up as a gigolo and moving into a magnificent luxury hotel. Irene at last accepts this new Jean. She starts to give him advice, she grows closer and closer to him, not realising that love is working its subtle magic on her too.

I personally found the movie very enjoyable. It's a must for hopeless romatics. A very touching love story minus the fuddy-duddy love-is-in-the-air kind of romance.

Overall:
- clever plot
- simple but effective script
- gorgeous lead roles (Gad Elmaleh has gorgeous blue-grey teary eyes and Audrey Tautou is drop dead gorgeous!)
i'll give this movie a 4 out of 5.... *must watch :)

ps: shen went crazy looking at all the high fashion brands.

There are 1.5 times the number of 10 dollar notes, and u sell one third of them, so there are now exactly 1.0 times the number of phonecards.
So for every $10 phonecard there is a $25 dollar phonecard
4200 / (10+25) = 120
There are 120 $10 phonecards now, and 120 $25 phonecards now

120 remaining $10 phonecards, therefore he must have sold 60
2/3 - 120
1/3 - 60

Today marks the day i finally drove alone. Mark was my GPS system... a good one :) phew. so we travelled around the east, beat heavy traffic, squeeze through narrow lanes and venture to the unfamiliar. i actually thought that we might do well if we join the Amazing Race! Haha.. jokes. But like what Uncle Ben said... "With great power comes great responsibility"... i had like millions of errands to run :( Exchange the modem, send some shirt samples, pick my mum up from work, pick up clothes from my granny's, blah blah blah blah.... It's no wonder i felt exhausted after one whole day of driving. Thank God for auto cars!

im in a "posting" mood today! Anyways, my long awaited miniature watermelon flavor chupa chups handphone chain finally arrived today! im thrilled... When i told Mark about it, he said... "don't eat so much sweet things lar..." *lolz* i mean his comment is sooo cute right? (That's my dear...) Seriously, who would order a chupa chups lollipop online and wait for it to be mailed to them? ... Hahs. *due to shen's blur-ness, i would like to clarify that it is not a lollipop but a handphone chain... can't be eaten!

Me & my BIG MOUTH
Mark & i went to the hawker center at Parkway for dinner tonight. It was crowded so we shared table with another couple. There were two cute dogs tied to a lamp post nearby and i was admiring them. i was telling Mark how adorable they are.. then i said LOUDLY... "I think they have no owners... lets bring them home." The next minute, the couple sitting opposite us stood up and walked towards to dogs and untied them. i just sat there speechless... and embarrassed.

Here's silly jo... waiting for the postman to "siam" so that she can take photo with the postbox. We could tell that the postman was pretty amused. I bet he even thought... "take photo with me lar!"
